Product description:

  • 3M Fibre Disc 501C consists of sharp aluminium zirconium mineral on a fibre backing, making this product ideal for removing welds and for other applications requiring medium-high pressure (e.g. deburring or rust removal). Aluminium zirconium is a material that allows you to grind quickly and obtain a consistent finish on mild steel. You also get good results on stainless steel with this material.

Characteristics:

  • Aluminium zirconium forms a consistently sharp edge when breaking down, which cuts faster than aluminium oxide and is therefore suitable for material removal on all metals, including stainless steel.
  • Rigid fibre backing provides the durability needed to remove welds and other applications requiring medium pressure, such as deburring or rust removal.
  • Durable resin adhesive resists heat, extends disc life and provides excellent mineral retention when grinding edges.
